While Chiikawa had two steady jobs with very nice bosses, they didn't want to skip out studying for the level 5 weeding exam either. So, the only way to ensure that their skills wouldn't get rusty was to keep putting them into practice.

They had created a flyer and printed out several copies to hand out.

The flyer read:

"I am Chiikawa. I will be your dedicated weeder. I can take care of dangerous plants from your yard.

Please trust in me, Chiikawa.

Only 5 dust."

It didn't seem like anyone was interested. Most people were just passing Chiikawa by. They were pretty small though. Perhaps it would be better if they stood up somewhere high and waved the flyer around?

So, Chiikawa found a bench to climb up onto, and they began to wave like MAD!

     Word spreads quickly in a small village like Pelican Town. Winnie found that out firsthand when she moved there herself. Upon first arriving in town, it seemed as though everyone already knew who she was before she even thought to properly introduce herself. So when a new resident came to town seemingly out of nowhere, it was no surprise that word eventually reached her ears-- information like that always seemed to find it’s way to Winnie, one way or another.

     Of course, she remembered all too well what it was like to be the newest neighbor. So while she didn’t know anything about this individual, she knew she wanted to do something to make them feel welcome. Just a little housewarming gift, to help them settle in. The tricky part was deciding what would be best... 

     After mulling it over, she decided to go with some jars of honey and fruit preserves from her farm. Seemed like a safe enough option. Hopefully they had a sweet-tooth. 

     Upon making her way to the newcomer’s address with her basket of goodies, she approached their door and gave it a few quick knocks. 

“ Hello, hello! Anyone home? ” she’d call, voice chipper as can be. Hopefully, she didn’t miss them.

✧* ░  She's hesitant, but slowly the tip of the staff lowers, until pointing the ground - but not for a second leaving her gaze off him. 

    “ I mean no harm as long as people are worth of their word... I only wish peace. The lights were on. You could have at least knocked! So. What are you looking for? Magic? ” The sorcerer is very defensive of the space she has claimed for her studies - books, scrolls, things she cannot carry around all the times stored and hidden under floorboards. || @hithernthither
